Road To The Super Bowl Runs Through Daytona Beach

What Others Are Saying

Did you know that you can find great hotel rates on the road to the Super Bowl?

With Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa for 2009, what could be better than a winter getaway to Florida? How about the plentiful, bargain hotel rates and beautiful white sands of Daytona Beach? Come a little early. Or stay a little later. It's a short drive to Tampa (with no icy roads; you've gotta love that!) and Daytona Beach has some of the most amazing beaches you'll ever see.

Daytona Beach is a sports fan's paradise. Not only is Daytona Beach on the Road to Super Bowl XLIII, Daytona Beach features some amazing golf, motor sports, fishing, boating, and other fun stuff, too. If your spouse doesn't share your enthusiasm for NFL football and Super Bowl tailgating parties, she can still enjoy the warm weather, beautiful beaches, and Daytona Beach restaurants, shopping, and family attractions Daytona Beach has to offer.

You can wake up in a Daytona Beach hotel and be in Tampa in time for lunch. If you can possibly stretch your post-Super Bowl winter getaway to Florida a bit longer, make plans to take in all kinds of racing activities - including the Rolex 24 and the Daytona 500 -- during Daytona International Speedway's huge Speedweeks celebration. It's all here!

Whether you're a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Baltimore Ravens or the Philadelphia Eagles, a trip to the Super Bowl during one of the warmest Florida winters in recent memory would be a good thing for you right about now - and a few pre- or post- Super Bowl days enjoying a winter vacation in Daytona Beach will make your Florida getaway the best ever. If you're in one of those cold weather cities, shoveling snow and slipping on ice - or really, just dealing with anything less than our current, sunny mid-70s temps -- you'll definitely want to check it out!
