Explore Daytona Beach's Best Kept Winter Secrets

Events

Exciting annual events, like the Rolex 24, Speedweeks, and Bike Week, keep people coming back to Daytona Beach during the winter months year after year. Who wouldn't want to escape the winter blahs for the warm, sunny beaches here in Daytona Beach?

But even if the roar of the engines isn't music to your ears, there are many great reasons to plan a Florida winter getaway that includes some time in Daytona Beach.

If you're a music lover, this weekend we'll have the 9th Annual Winterfest at the Peabody Auditorium. Or catch the incomparable Wynton Marsalis, if your taste runs more to jazz than classical.

If you're a fan of surfing or Volkswagons, you can't miss WinterJAM 2009 February 19th through the 22nd.

Everybody loves a parade, and our Centennial Celebration Parade will be marching down Beach Street January 31.

Firefighters and other first responders will be hitting town here in Daytona Beach January 28-31 for the Fire Rescue East Convention at the Ocean Center.

And as always, we've got great weather, tons of fun family activities, and great shopping, dining and nightlife.

If you've been thinking about making a trip to Florida, or just getting out of town for a while, come out and enjoy some of Daytona Beach's best kept secrets.
