Votran's New Year's Eve trolley service will ring in the New Year by offering partygoers safe travel along S.R. A1A. The service will begin running at 7 p.m. and will run every 20 minutes on December 31st and the cost is $3. Trolleys will serve Main Street and many other destinations on the S.R. Service is available to persons who, because of physical or mental
disability or age, are unable to transport themselves and cannot
use fixed-route bus service. Assisting devices such as wheelchair

of the Americans With Disabilities Act. VOTRAN drivers have special
training in personal assistance. Service is available throughout
Volusia County for those who meet eligibility requirements. Call

Gold (Para-transit) availability times: Greater Daytona Beach Area
6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday Southeast and West Volusia 6
a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Reservations may be made
from 7 a.m.- 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Cost of services: A $2.50
one-way fare is charged for Gold Service. Exact change is required.
VOTRAN drivers do not carry cash.
One certified personal care attendant assisting the passenger will
not be charged fare. A companion will be charged a $2.50 one-way
fare. Scheduling transportation: Qualified persons or their
personal care attendants must request transportation at least one
day in advance of travel. Reservations can be made no more than
seven days in advance. When calling the Gold Service reservations
office, be sure to make reservations for personal care attendants
or companions desiring transportation, too. Also, advise the
reservation office of any special assistance services needed.
Subscription service is available for customers who require
transportation service to the same destination at least three or
more times a week. Only one telephone call is necessary to make a
service reservation. However, the reservations office must be
advised of any change in scheduling needs.

VOTRAN's turn-of-the-century style trolleys operate from mid
January to Labor Day on Atlantic Avenue in the Greater Daytona
Beach Area.
Hours of Operation: Noon - 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday
Cost: $1.25 for adults; Seniors (65 - up) $.60; Disabled
$.60; Youth (6-17) $.60; Children under six free and paratransit
fare $2.50. All trolleys are equipped with wheelchair lifts, air
conditioned, and equipped with the "talking bus" features
to call out your stops.

The train station is located in the city of DeLand, just west of
Daytona Beach. Amtrak provides connector bus transportation to the
Daytona Beach Curbside Bus Stop located at 100 North Atlantic
Avenue, the Daytona Beach Hilton and Ocean Walk Village in Daytona
Beach. The station in DeLand is open from 8:15 a.m. - 9:15 p.m,
daily. Station services includes ticketing, baggage check, baggage
assistance, enclosed waiting area, restrooms and payphones. For
