Daytona Beach Official Visitors Guide - page 54

T
he Daytona Beach area has
a wide range of lodging
options, from luxury
condominiums and resort hotels
to family-friendly motels,
quaint oceanfront cottages,
romantic bed and breakfasts,
RV parks, campgrounds and
more. The directory on pages
54-63 is intended to help you
find lodging that suits your taste
and your budget. Efforts were
made to ensure information
was accurate at the time of
publication, but guests should
confirm pricing and amenities
when booking.
Many of the
accommodations display
nationally known seals of
approval fromAAA and
Mobil. Many also include
quality-assurance logos that
might not be familiar to guests from
outside of Florida or the Daytona Beach
area.
Properties whose listings are marked
with an image reminiscent of an
old-style hotel key on a key ring are
members of the statewide Superior
Small Lodging Association. These are
small, privately owned hotels, inns,
bed & breakfasts and such that have
joined together to offer guests an
intimate experience that cannot be
found at larger hotels. All have fewer
than 50 units, are unique and authentic
in design and style but have updated
modern conveniences. All members are
inspected annually by an independent
company to assure they meet and
maintain stringent standards for
cleanliness, amenities and service.
The tiny rendering of the Ponce de
Leon Inlet Lighthouse that appears on
some listings is the logo of the Select
Small Inns of Daytona Beach program
operated by the Daytona Beach Area
Convention and Visitors Bureau. It
certifies that that the properties have
fewer than 100 units and have passed
an inspection that emphasizes guest
comfort, modern conveniences and
exemplary housekeeping practices.
